Mixed-Relay

At the IBU-Congress in Warna in October 2004 was the Mixed-Relay as a new competition introduced. For every nation start each two women and two men. The beginnings lie in the show events of Ruhpolding and till 2002 Schalke.
Already at the end of the World Cup season 2004/2005 were first World Championships in Khanty-Mansisk, but this brought heavy discussions because there was no normal World Cup race before for testing. Till now the Mixed-Relay is not olympic.
