Relay

The relay competition is behind the Individual the second oldest discipline in Biathlon. The 1st athletes of the relays start

in common with a mass start. Every of the 4 athletes of the relay have to do 3 loops of 2.5km. Shootings sessions are after the 1st loop prone and after 2nd loop standing. If he/she doesn't hit every target are 3 extra cartridges there, if then some targets are still black the athletes has to do equivalent penalty loops.
The surrender to the next part of the relay is done by clearly visible body contact in the changing zone in the finish area.
Winner is the relay that crosses finish line first.
