Team-Competition

The actually very interesting Team-Competition got kicked of the program of World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games, although it was very popular. 4 athletes per nation were a team who had to do the 10km in common.
There were two shooting sessions where in each case 2 athletes had to shoot prone and two standing. The Team could be passed of another team only in common and reach both the shooting range and the finish in common. If the finish line wasn't crossed within 15 seconds the team got one penalty minute.
This competition is still in the form of the "Patrol" at military World Championships.
