Nach Uschi Disl und Magdalena Neuner konnte sich heuer auch Andrea Henkel den Doppelsieg Sprint-Verfolgung sichern. Strikt genommen war das ein Start-Ziel-Sieg, denn sie war als erste in die Loipe gestartet und schoss dann jeweils fehlerfrei ; doch das Ganze war bei weitem nicht so locker wie es auf dem ersten Blick aussehen mag, denn Ekaterina Iourieva, die als 8. ins Rennen gegangen war, schoss auch fehlerfrei und näherte sich gefährlich an Andrea Henkel. Hätte diese beim letzten Schiessen gepatzt, und wäre Iourieva fehlerfei geblieben, wäre jetzt eine andere Weltmeisterin ! Dritte wurde Albina Akhatova, die ebenfalls fehlerfrei geblieben ist. Keinen Podiumsplatz, dennoch eine weitere gute Leistung für Sandrine Bailly, die ihren 5. Rang von gestern behaupten konnte und jetzt an 2. Position in der Gesamtwertung steht, hinter Andrea Henkel. After Uschi Disl and Magdalena Neuner, Andrea Henkel did it today and won the double victory Sprint-Pursuit. Strictly speaking, it was a start-finish victory, as she had started first and shot clear at all shootings ; but the whole thing was not as easy as it could seem, as Ekaterina Iourieva, who had started 8th, shot clear too and came nearer and nearer to Andrea Henkel. Had this one missed a target at her last shooting, and had Iourieva remained clear, so would now an other one be World Champion ! Albina Akhatova, who also hit all targets, became third. No podium place, yet a further good performance for Sandrine Bailly, who could defend her 5th rank of yesterday and now is second in the overall ranking, behind Andrea Henkel. Ceci en ayant mené de bout en bout, mais la chose ne fut de loin pas aussi simple que l'on pourrait le croire, puisqu'elle s'était élancée la première et qu'elle s'était acquittée de tous ses tirs sans faute ; mais Ekaterina Iourieva, partie 8ème, tirait elle aussi sans faute et s'approchait dangereusement d'Andrea Henkel. Une faute de cette dernière au dernier tir, et le titre partait chez Iourieva …! Le troisième rang revient à Albina Akhatova, laquelle a également accompli le sans-faute. Pas de place sur le podium, mais une nouvelle bonne course de Sandrine Bailly, qui a pu défendre sa 5ème place d'hier et pointe maintenant en 2ème position au général, derrière Andrea Henkel. Der "König" wie gewohnt… Zwar patzte er zweimal, doch in der Loipe verhielt er sich souverän und nutzte die Tatsache aus, dass Tchoudov offenbar ein bisschen nervös war und 4 Fehler machte. Somit holte er sich den Sieg und verstärkte seinen ersten Platz in der Gesamtwertung. Während Hanevold einen weniger frischen Eindruck machte, konnten sich Wolf (3., 2 Fehler) und Iaroshenko (4., 2 Fehler) deutlich verbessern. Auch Simon Fourcade ist erwähnenswert, dank eines einzigen Fehlers verbesserte er sich vom 20. auf den 6. Platz. Das letzte Schiessen verliess er als 3. und hätte mehr Hoffnungen hegen dürfen, wäre er ein besserer Finisher gewesen. Heute hatte Hallenbarter kein Glück beim Schiessen, mit 5 Fehlern rutscht er vom 13. auf den 24. Rang zurück. Die anderen Franzosen : 22. (54) Vincent Defrasne (1), 34. (32) Ferréol Cannard (2), 45. (27) Lois Habert (1). The "King" in his usual manner… Making 2 faults, but relying on his still excellent skiing abilities, and taking profit from the 4 faults of Tchoudov, who seemed somewhat nervous today, the leader of the World Cup used this opportunity to increase the gap. Whereas Hanevold seemed physically weaker, (3rd, 2 faults) Wolf and Iaroshenko (4th 2 faults) knew the best how to take profit from that. Also to mention : Simon Fourcade, who thank to one single fault could improve himself from the 20th to the 6th place. Having leaved the last shooting in 3rd position, he could even have hoped better, if he had been a better finisher. Hallenbarter had no luck at the shooting that time, with 5 faults he shifted back from the 13th to the 24th position. Le "roi" comme à la parade… Lâchant 2 fautes, mais jouant sur son ski toujours aussi fringant, et profitant des 4 fautes d'un Tchoudov semble-t-il un peu nerveux, le leader de la Coupe du monde ne s'est pas privé de consolider sa position en tête. Alors qu'Hanevold marquait le pas physiquement, ce sont Wolf (3ème, 2 fautes) et Iaroshenko (4ème 2 fautes) qui ont le mieux su tirer leur épingle du jeu. Sans oublier Simon Fourcade, qui grâce à une seule faute s'est amélioré de la 20ème à la 6ème place. Ayant quitté le dernier tir en 3ème position, il aurait même pu espérer mieux s'il était doté de meilleures qualités de finisseur. Hallenbarter n'a pas connu la réussite au tir, avec 5 fautes il rétrograde de la 13ème à la 24ème position.
