Dübendorf gets ready for race and TV broadcasting

In Dübendorf sind die Arbeiten im Hinblick auf den 1. Grossen Preis der Schweiz im Sommerbiathlon, der am Samstag den 5. Juli stattfindet, in vollem Gange. Dutzende Helferinnen und Helfer sind dabei, das Air Force Center in eine Wettkampfarena umzubauen. Die meisten dieser fleissigen Arbeitskräfte stammen aus den Reihen des Skiclubs SC am Bachtel (Zürcher Oberland). Eine 1000 Personen fassende Tribüne wurde bereits seit Mittwoch aufgebaut. Mit dieser Zahl rangiert Dübendorf deutlich hinter Püttlingen (3500) aber schliesslich handelt es sich dabei um die allererste Auflage, und dies erst noch auf Schweizer Boden, und zwar zum Nulltarif für die Zuschauer. Über das gesamte Wettkampf-Weekend sind über 100 Personen im Einsatz. Sämtliche Arbeiten am temporären Biathlon-Stadion in der Zürcher Agglomeration passieren vor dem Hintergrund, dass der Flugbetrieb auf dem Air Force Center in Dübendorf so wenig wie möglich tangiert wird. Am Freitag beginnen die TV-Produktionsgesellschaften Avedia und TVUnit mit dem Aufbau der technischen Infrastruktur für die Live-Übertragung auf Eurosport (Samstag, 1730 Uhr bis 1900 Uhr). Insgesamt 12 Kameras werden eingesetzt, um den SuperSprint der Frauen und Männer auch optisch in ein wahres Show-Ereignis zu verwandeln. La plupart de ces travailleurs sont membres du ski-club SC am Bachtel (Oberland zurichois). Une tribune d'une capacité de 1000 personnes est en place depuis mercredi. Avec ce chiffre, Dübendorf pointe assez loin derrière Püttlingen (3500) mais après tout il s'agit de la toute première édition, qui plus est en territoire suisse, en rappelant que l'entrée est gratuite. Sur la durée du week-end, ce seront 100 personnes qui seront engagées. Tous les travaux sur le stade temporaire ont pour contrainte d'interférer un minimum avec l'exploitation de l'Air Force Center de Dübendorf. C'est vendredi que les sociétés de production TV Avedia und TVUnit commencent à mettre en place l'infrastructure technique pour la retransmission en direct sur Eurosport Allemagne (samedi, de 1730 heures à 1900 heures).
